The FBI also drew some criticism and concern after raiding the home of a former ABC News producer under the impression he had classified documents on his laptop, Rolling Stone reported. The video’s caption is inaccurate. There are no credible news reports to support the claim. Likewise, the claim is not mentioned on the FBI or Kennedy’s verified social media pages or their respective websites. The over 13-minute video features two clips of Wray being questioned by Kennedy and Arkansas Republican Sen. Tom Cotton, and neither of them repeats the purported claim. Both clips stem from an August 2022 Senate Judiciary Committee hearing focused on FBI oversight. In the first clip, Kennedy questions Wray about former FBI agent Timothy Thibault, including his alleged involvement in the Hunter Biden investigation.
