  • FACT CHECK: Does This Image Show Georgia Sen. Raphael Warnock During A Church Service In Georgia? An image shared on Facebook purportedly shows Georgia Democrat Sen. Raphael Warnock dressed in colorful attire accompanied by women in sexually explicit outfits. Verdict: False The photo is of socialite Mike (Pretty Mike) Eze-Nwalie Nwogu, not Warnock. Fact Check: The Georgia Senate Runoff election is set for Dec. 6 between Warnock and Republican Challenger Herschel Walker, The Hill reported. The runoff has seen an estimated $80 Million in TV ads in just the four weeks of the runoff campaign, National Public Radio reported. The Twitter post purportedly shows Warnock during a service at his church in Georgia. The image features a man, purported to be the senator, in colorful clothing on stage with several women in sexually explicit outfits on stage. “What kind of a “church” is reverend Warnock running?” the post reads. “For real- WTF is going on?” (RELATED: Did Top Military Leaders Apologize For Questioning The 2020 Election Following The 2022 Midterms?) The caption is inaccurate. The photo was taken in Oct. 2022 in Lagos Nigeria at a funeral for the mother of a music executive. A local news outlet, Ripples Nigeria, covered the event and identified the man in the photo as the nationally known socialite, Pretty Mike, confirming he was in attendance at a funeral. Mike later posted photos of himself with the women to his verified social media account. (RELATED: Did Top Military Leaders Apologize For Questioning The 2020 Election Following The 2022 Midterms?) “Out here doing what I do best, Putting smiles and confusion In peoples mind,” the post reads. “believe what u want, But we just Laid Mummy to final Rest in Grand style.” There are no credible news reports that suggest this is a photo of Warnock or that the image depicts a moment during his Georgia church service. The image does not appear on Warnock’s social medias or his website. This is not the first time images have been shared on social media with an inaccurate caption. Check Your Fact recently debunked a post claiming Brazil’s President-election was photographed with a satanic statue.
