Не е вярно, че Унгария ще използва въглища до 2060 г.
В сайта Daily Standart и социалните мрежи се разпространява невярното твърдение, че Унгария е отложила закриването на въглищните си централи до 2060 г. Всъщност Унгария разполага само с една работеща въглищна електроцентрала и официално се е ангажирала да я закрие през 2025 г. ТЕЦ „Матра“ е строена преди повече от половин век и вече носи загуби от над 100 милиона евро годишно за унгарските данъкоплатци.
В края на миналата година, която донесе несигурност в енергетиката на Европа, Унгария даде заявки, че иска да удължи живота на централата до 2029 г. Засега обаче официалната цел на страната за отказ от използването на въглища остава 2025 г.
