New Delhi (Vishvas News). Social media has been buzzing with pictures featuring cricketer Hardik Pandya and Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan, sparking claims that they celebrated Christmas together. However, a thorough investigation by Vishvas News revealed that these images are not real but AI-generated. What seemed like a festive moment between the two stars was a cleverly crafted digital creation.
What is in the viral post?
On December 26, 2024, Facebook user IAS Fans Club India (Archive) shared these pictures with the caption, “Hardik Pandya and Sara Ali Khan enjoying Christmas…”

Investigation
To investigate this claim, we closely examined the pictures and identified several anomalies. The faces appeared unnaturally smooth, the clothing lacked folds and details, the lighting and shadows were inconsistent, and the background was suspiciously blurred. Additionally, Sara Ali Khan’s facial features appeared unnaturally doll-like. These inconsistencies raised suspicions that the images were AI-generated. To confirm, we checked each picture using AI image detection tools.

We checked this photo using the AI image detection tool Hive Moderation, which determined a 98.9% probability that the image was AI-generated.

We also checked this photo with the AI image detection tool Hive Moderation, which determined a 99.8% probability that the image was AI-generated.
Third photo
When checked with the AI image detection tool Hive Moderation, we determined a 99.9% probability that the image was AI-generated.
Fourth photo
When checked with the AI image detection tool Hive Moderation, we discovered a 99.8% probability of the image being AI-generated.
Fifth photo
When checked with the AI image detection tool Hive Moderation, we discovered a 99.6% probability of the image being AI-generated.
Sixth photo
When checked with the AI image detection tool Hive Moderation, we discovered a 99.9% probability of the image being AI-generated.
We contacted AI expert Ansh Mehra regarding this and he confirmed, “These photos are fake. Such images can be created from a prompt using some photos.”
The Facebook user IAS Fans Club India who shared the post has over one lakh followers.
