  • FACT CHECK: Does This Video Depict Joe Biden Saying Trans Women Aren’t Real Women? A video shared on Instagram allegedly shows a broadcast of President Joe Biden saying trans women aren’t real women. View this post on Instagram Verdict: False This video has been digitally fabricated. There are no transcripts on the official White House website to match what Biden appears to say in the video. Fact Check: Oklahoma Republican lawmakers are seeking to reduce access to gender-affirming healthcare, sparking protests at Gov. Kevin Stitt State of the State address, Tulsa World reported. Former President Trump claimed he would punish teachers and medical professionals who seek to help students struggling with gender identity if elected in 2024, according to Axios. An Instagram video allegedly shows Biden saying trans women aren’t real women and making degrading comments about them. The video appears to be news coverage of the alleged speech. “You have no womb, you have no ovaries,” Biden appears to say in part during the speech. “You have no eggs. You’re a homosexual man twisted by drugs and surgery into a crude mockery of nature’s perfection.” “I completely agree with my president on this,” the caption reads. “I stand with Biden.” (RELATED: Viral News Story About Transgender Baby Is Fabricated) This video is digitally fabricated and does not actually depict a real speech made by Biden. A search for White House transcripts matching what is said in the video yields no results. A reverse image search shows that the footage of Biden speaking actually stems from a CNN YouTube video from Jan. 23. In the video, Biden announces a plan to send 31 Abrams tanks to Ukraine and does not mention transgendered people at any point. Biden has been very outspoken about his support for the transgender community. In a video shared on Twitter, Biden states his administration is “committed to advancing transgender equality” in the classroom and beyond. Biden signed an executive order last year preventing conversion therapy and “safeguarding” health care for community youth, among other efforts.
