Killer Mike ARRESTED at the Grammy’s in a huge spectacle just 2 days after refusing to endorse Biden. Instead, he was arrested for an altercation with a security guard. Fact Check: Killer Mike was arrested after winning three Grammys on Sunday for misdemeanor battery after allegedly getting in an altercation with a security guard, according to The Daily Beast. A law enforcement source said that the rapper allegedly had pushed the guard down twice and threw an elbow at her, NBC News reported. An X video claims that Killer Mike was arrested at the Grammys for sharing political views two days prior. The video shows an interview of Killer Mike next to footage of him being arrested at the Grammys. “Pick your policy, not your person,” he says during the interview. “This is not the Dallas Cowboys versus your favorite team. This is the policies that will affect our generations for the next 20, 30, 40 years to come.” Once prompted whether he would endorse one candidate over the other, Killer Mike declined. “Killer Mike ARRESTED at the Grammy’s in a huge spectacle just 2 days after refusing to endorse Biden,” the post reads. “This is what they’ll do if you step out of line.” The claim is baseless. Killer Mike stated that his arrest at the Grammys was caused by a physical altercation with an “overzealous” security guard, according to AP News. He stated that he has the “utmost confidence” that he would be cleared of all wrongdoing, the outlet reported. (RELATED: No, Stephen Colbert Was Not Arrested) Killer Mike did an interview with Bill Maher on February 4, which can be seen on X. In the video, Maher asks him if he can endorse Biden over Trump, to which he includes a list of demands such as apologizing for the crime bill and being receptive to feedback from Black voters. Biden worked on a 1994 crime bill that banned assault weapons and high-capacity magazines for 10 years, according to Washington Examiner. Check Your Fact has reached out to the Los Angeles Police Department and Killer Mike’s record label for comment and will update this piece accordingly if one is received from either source.
