A video showing a boy and a girl is being shared on social media platforms.
The video shows the girl telling the camera that the two are brother and sister. The girl further mentions that the two got married as she was pregnant.
What we found: We divided a video into multiple keyframes and ran a Google reverse image search on some of them.
We came across the same video on Facebook by a user named Kanhiya Kashyap. It was uploaded on 1 January.
Upon going through the video, we found a disclaimer which appeared on the screen for a second. It stated, "This video is purely made for entertainment purposes only." It also mentioned that the video did not aim at offending any person or group.
We went through Kashyap's profile and found that it was listed under "video creator" category and the bio read that "Kanhaiya Singh. Expose and prank video."
Conclusion: Social media users have falsely shared this video as a real incident of a brother-sister marrying each other.
