This claim is baseless, however. There are no credible news reports about the pandemic treaty being discarded. Likewise, there are no matching search results on the WHO’s website about the claim. The goal of the agreement is to “prepare the world for preventing and responding to future pandemics, built on consensus, solidarity and equity,” according to the WHO website.
