  • FACT CHECK: No, Buffalo Bills Fans Were Not Detained For Hijacking Sound System At Taylor Swift Concert A video shared on TikTok claims two Buffalo Bill fans were detained after hijacking a sound system at a Taylor Swift concert. @musebug #BuffaloBills #taylorswift ♬ original sound – Tony Finley Verdict: False The claim is inaccurate. The video was digitally altered, and the original footage shows Swift reacting to cheers, not music. Fact Check: Swift was met with boos when she attended the playoff game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills to support her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, according to Daily Mail. She seemed unfazed by the crowd’s reaction, blowing kisses, New York Daily News reported. A TikTok video claims two Buffalo Bills fans hijacked the sound system at a Swift concert. The video appears to show footage of one of Swift’s concerts while the song “Shout” by the Isley Brothers can be heard. “Shout” has been a longtime victory song for the Bills, according to Buffalo area news outlet Country 106.5. “2 Buffalo Bills fans say ‘Worth It’ after getting detained for hijacking Taylor Swift wireless sound system,” text overlaid on the video reads. The video has been digitally altered, however. A different angle of the same moment was uploaded to YouTube, its description indicating that it was taken during Swift’s concert in Los Angeles, California in August 2023. The scene can be viewed around the 11:25 mark, but the song in the post cannot be heard. Swift looks at the crowd in awe after receiving applause and cheers for several minutes after performing one of her songs. Another video of the scene was posted by Good Morning America. “Taylor Swift fans cheer for over 7 minutes after ‘Champagne Problems’ performance,” the title reads. There are no credible news reports about Buffalo Bills fans hijacking the sound system at a Taylor Swift concert. Snopes also debunked the claim.
