What is Lipoma?
Lipoma is a non-cancerous growth of specific tissues called, fatty tissue that develops just beneath the skin. There is no condition when lipoma becomes cancerous. It is a relatively common condition that usually appears as a soft, movable lump under the skin. Lipomas can occur anywhere on the body but are most commonly found on the neck, shoulders, back, arms, and thighs.
The exact cause of lipomas is not fully understood, but they are thought to develop due to an overgrowth of fat cells. They may also be caused by a genetic predisposition to the condition. Lipomas typically do not cause pain or discomfort, although they can sometimes grow large enough to interfere with movement or cause cosmetic concerns.
In most cases, lipomas do not require treatment and can be left alone. However, if a lipoma is causing discomfort or interfering with movement, it can be removed using medicines or surgery. In rare cases, a lipoma may be a sign of a more serious underlying condition, and additional tests may be needed to rule out other possible causes.
Can a topical spray cure lipoma?
Not exactly. We cannot confirm whether South Moon: Lipoma Removal Spray is effective in curing lipomas, as we have not come across any credible scientific studies or medical evidence to support its effectiveness.

That said, the video falsely shows the spray magically dissolving lipoma, which is usually not the case. Lipoma cannot be melted using only a spray. We even found a section that shows saggy arm muscles, falsely depicted as lipoma, getting toned up after using the spray.
Typically lipomas do not go away on their own. However, in some cases, a lipoma may stop growing or even shrink over time. This is more common in smaller lipomas.
Besides this, we ran a Google Reverse Image Search and found no evidence showing the professional experience of the people in the claimed video.
Under the title “Can a mist cure spinal and shoulder pain?“, THIP MEDIA has previously exposed another deceptive marketing assertion made by South Moon.
Dr Wasim Bashir Pathan, MDS, a Facial Plastic Surgeon currently practicing at Lá Densitae Hair, Skin and Laser Clinic in Maharashtra, specializes in Tricho Surgery informs, “Lipomas generally do not require treatment unless they are causing discomfort or bothering you in some way. When it comes to addressing lipomas, surgical intervention is often considered the most effective treatment option. Other treatments may not be as successful in preventing the lipoma from recurring. Therefore, it is generally recommended to remove the lipoma surgically.”
