This claim was debunked by several organisations, but yet now it is being shared in Telugu language. Fact check: The claim that the incident seen in the video occurred in Kerala is FALSE. Viral video shows an incident from the year 2020 and the incident occurred in Bahrain. When the keyframes extracted from the video are searched using the Google Reverse image search, we found the news reports published in the year 2020. According to these reports, ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi a local supermarket in Juffair displayed Ganesha idols for sale. A 54-year old woman started shouting at the salesperson that it is an Islamic country and such idols should not be sold in the country. She took idols one by one and dropped them to the ground. https://www.aajtak.in/world/photo/behrain-muslim-women-breaks-idol-of-ganesha-tlif-1114361-2020-08-17-2 https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/tv/params/videos/news/bahrain-woman-booked-for-breaking-ganesha-idols-after-video-goes-viral/videoshow/77592211.cms?from=mdr Bahrain's Interior Ministry has said that action has started against the woman. In a tweet, the capital police has taken legal action against a 54-year-old woman for causing damage to the shop and insulting a particular sect and its traditions The public prosecution issued a statement that the women was charged with multiple counts of criminal damage and of insulting a religious symbol. https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/middle-east/bahrain-woman-charged-with-insulting-hindu-religious-symbol/articleshow/77588948.cms Here are the fact check reports done in July 2022 https://newsmobile.in/articles/2022/07/20/fact-check-viral-video-of-woman-smashing-idols-of-hindu-gods-is-from-bahrain-not-kerala/ https://www.vishvasnews.com/english/viral/fact-check-this-incident-of-breaking-idols-is-from-bahrain-not-kerala/ Hence, the claim that the incident seen in the video occurred in Kerala is FALSE.
