Although Mexico won the match, they were eliminated from the tournament as well after a 95th minute goal by Saudi Arabia, according to ESPN. The Facebook post purports each player on the Saudi Arabia national football team would receive a Rolls-Royce for defeating Argentina during a 2022 World Cup match. “Saudi Arabia Players To Get A Rolls-Royce Each For Defeating Argentina,” the post’s caption reads. The claim is false. There are no credible news reports supporting the claim. Likewise, the Saudi Arabia national football team has neither mentioned the claim on their website nor their verified social media accounts.
