Fact Check/Verification மெரினா சாலையில் பெருக்கெடுத்து ஓடும் வெள்ளம் என்று பரவும் வீடியோ குறித்த உண்மையறிய அதுபற்றிய ஆய்வில் ஈடுபட்டோம். வைரலாகும் வீடியோவைக் கீ-ப்ரேம்களாகப் பிரித்து ரிவர்ஸ் சர்ச் முறைக்கு உள்ளாக்கியபோது கடந்த செப்டம்பர் 03, 2024 அன்று Newsflare வெளியிட்டிருந்த இந்த வீடியோவுடன் கூடிய செய்தி நமக்குக் கிடைத்தது. அதில், “Saudi Arabia: Heavy rain has flooded the streets of Jeddah” என்று செய்தி வெளியாகியிருந்தது. மேலும், யூடியூப் பக்கம் ஒன்றில் அரேபிய மொழியில் செப்டம்பர் 02ஆம் தேதியன்று Jeddahவில் ஏற்பட்ட வெள்ளப்பெருக்கு என்று இந்த வீடியோ இடம்பெற்றிருந்தது. வேறு சில சவுதி செய்தி ஊடகங்களின் சமூக வலைத்தளப்பக்கங்களிலும் இந்த வீடியோ இடம்பெற்றிருந்தது. சவுதியில் எடுக்கப்பட்ட இந்த வீடியோவே தற்போது சென்னை மெரினாவில் ஏற்பட்ட வெள்ளப்பெருக்கு என்று பரவி வருகிறது.
