Fact Check
Is Dr. Angelique Fauci, Dr. Anthony’s sister?
Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, doesn’t have a sister named Angelique. According to several Fauci tributes, Dr. Anthony has one sibling named Denise Score.
Did Dr. Anthony’s sister publish the book “Omicron and the other Covid-19 variants: All you need to know about Covid-19 vaccines and variants.” ?
No. There is no evidence that Dr.Anthony’s sister, Denise, has published a book on omicron.
The book was published in the name of Dr. Angelique Fauci.
The Associated Press reported that the 17-page book referenced in the social media posts was self-published to Kindle on November 26, 2021, the same day the World Health Organization deemed omicron a “variant of concern.” The book was self-published and later removed from Amazon.
A biography of Dr Angelique Fauci could not be found on any of the credible website. And there is no proof that connects Angelique Fauci and Denise as the same person.
Hence, due to lack of any evidence which can prove that Dr. Anthony Fauci’s sister publish a book about the omicron coronavirus variant, the claim is false.
