The online food ordering app is facing flak from a large section of conservative Hindus for standing up to a Hindu customer who cancelled an order from a restaurant as the delivery person was a Muslim. However, the company posted its annual report for FY2019 in April on its blog. Most of the losses were on account of the food delivery business in India, Zomato said in its annual report.
