Meanwhile, another video of a group of men beating a young woman and executing her in the middle of a street is in circulation with the narrative that it shows another incident that took place in Manipur.
The video is being shared with the caption: “Shocking Video of Brutal Attack and Killing of Kukki Christian Girl in Manipur. This is too gruesome; the sad reality of what Manipur and India are becoming under a regime of hate. Pray for Manipur, Pray for India.”

Fact Check:
The claim that the video shows an incident that took place in Manipur is false. The video shows an incident that occurred in Myanmar in December 2022.
When we performed reverse image search in Google, we found a Twitter account sharing the same viral video on December 2, 2022 with the caption in Burmese language that says “Pdfတွေ တော်တော်ရက်စက်တာပဲ မိ
When translated, it states: “PDFs are really cruel, a woman was handcuffed and brutally shot.”
Taking the cue, when we searched further, we found several news reports in Burmese published in December 2022.
According to elevenmyanmar.com, the 3-minute long video had gone viral in Myanmar. This video showed the young woman being beaten, slapped, and kicked by a group of men. She was later brutally shot four times and her body was left on the pavement.
According to the report, the location of the incident was not clear in the video but the people sharing it cited the location as Tamu in Myanmar, and the gruesome attack was done by Tamu PDF (People Defense Forces) No-4 battalion.
This incident was also reported by several other Burmese media outlets.
