Can aluminium foil relieve pain?

He says, “I want to clear up some confusion about a recent claim that wrapping aluminium foil around body parts can relieve pain. This is not supported by scientific evidence. In fact, using aluminium foil in this way can be harmful, causing burns, tissue damage, and allergic reactions.”
Dr Rahman further states, “It’s important not to delay proper treatment. Pain is a signal from your body that something is wrong, and it needs to be addressed correctly. Using proven methods like medications, physical therapy, and consulting with a healthcare professional is the best way to manage pain effectively.”
Why do people believe aluminium foil can relieve pain?
The belief in aluminium foil as a pain reliever likely originates from anecdotal evidence and placebo effects. People might feel temporary relief after using it due to psychological factors or coincidence. However, this does not mean that aluminium foil has any real medicinal properties.
What are the dangers of using aluminium foil?

Studies on aluminium and Alzheimer’s are inconclusive. There is no clear evidence linking normal aluminium exposure to an increased dementia risk. Overall, no convincing connection between aluminium and Alzheimer’s disease has been established.
Neither the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) nor the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) have evaluated aluminum for its potential to cause cancer in humans. Furthermore, research has not shown aluminum to be a carcinogen in animal studies.
