What's the truth?: This claim is false. This photo is from when Orbán visited Kochi in January 2025. How did we find the truth?: We performed a reverse image search on the viral image and this led us to several reports from 10 January which carries the same viral image. Reports shared by The Indian Express and The Print stated that Orbán was in Kerala's Kochi on a two-week vacation with his wife and two youngest daughters. The caption mentioned that Orbán was interacting with the auto-rickshaw drivers in Kochi. It also carried the driver, Siddique Hussain's, quote. "Two days before the trip, I got a call from a hotel at Fort Kochi. The hotel manager told me that the prime minister, his wife and two daughters, will be coming and they want three-wheelers for sightseeing. The hotel asked for four auto-rickshaws,” he said. There are no credible reports of Orbán visiting Maha Kumbh Mela 2025. We also checked Orbán's social media accounts and did not find any posts about him visiting Prayagraj. Manorama Online also stated about his visit to Kochi. Conclusion: A photo of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is going viral to claim that it was clicked in Prayagraj's Maha Kumbh Mela 2025.
