A video of a man distributing chickens and alcohol to a group of men is going viral with claims that the man in the clip is a BJP leader.

This video is from Warangal, Telangana, and shows TRS leader Rajanala Srihari distributing liquor and chickens.
A video making the rounds on social media allegedly shows Bharatiya Janata Party leaders distributing chickens and alcohol to voters. In the video in question, several people can be seen receiving chickens and bottles of what looks like alcohol from a group of men in a public place.
People shared the video on Facebook alongside captions in Punjabi that read, "Only BJP can do this."
AFWA's investigation found that this video does not show BJP leaders. The man seen distributing the birds and the bottles is a Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader from Telangana.

When we searched for “BJP distributing chicken and alcohol” online, the results included a similar video. Per news reports that contained the video, it was a TRS leader who was doing the distribution.
India Today reported on October 4 that this distribution took place in Warangal, Telangana. Following this incident, TRS faced backlash from the BJP.
Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, the State General Secretary of Andhra Pradesh BJP also shared this video on Twitter, tagging the TRS president KT Rama Rao. He wrote, “So now TRS leaders are distributing alcohol & chicken to make KCR Garu PM,” asking Rama Rao if it was his idea.

We also found an Indian Express report from October 4 that said the TRS leader who distributed bottles of liquor and chickens to 200 workers locals was Rajanala Srihari. The distribution reportedly took place ahead of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao launching a national party in Warangal.
The news agency ANI also tweeted the video and said the man in the video was TRS leader Rajanala Srihari.

Therefore, it is clear that this video does not show BJP members distributing liquor and chickens.
