  • Fact Check: This stunning action sequence is not a leaked scene from SRK's 'Jawan' India Today found that the video in question is old and is from the sets of a 2018 Bengali film. Listen to Story India Today Fact Check This video is from the set of the 2018 Bengali movie ‘Bagh Bandhi Khela’. It is not related to ‘Jawan’ or Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film “Jawan”, which is slated to release on September 7, has fans excited for a grand spectacle. Reports of an extraordinary collaboration with six globally acclaimed action directors have only fueled this excitement further. Now, an alleged leaked video from the sets of “Jawan” is making the rounds on social media. The clip shows a man wearing a safety harness running vertically down a skyscraper. “Jawan Leaked Action Scene. We are not ready for the Mass + Class Action sequences of Jawan. ANGAAR HAI BOSS,” wrote an individual while sharing the video. The archived version of such a post can be seen here. India Today found that the video in question is from the sets of a 2018 Bengali film “Bagh Bandhi Khela”. The man in the video is stunt artist Mansoor Ali Khan. Our Probe Under the viral post, we noticed a person pointing out that the man in the video was stunt artist Mansoor Ali Khan. On Khan’s Instagram page, we found the same video shared on August 18. According to this post, the video showed Khan performing a stunt for a 2018 film titled “Bagh Bandhi Khela”. The scene was shot at CAT Tower in Bangkok, Thailand, and was choreographed by action director Allan Amin. The post also tagged Bengali actor Jeetendra Madnani, also known as Jeet, who starred in the film. India Today then reached out to Khan, who confirmed via text message that the video was indeed part of the 2018 film in which he worked as a stunt actor. “This video is from the rehearsal session of the 2018 film ‘Bagh Bandhi Khela’ and I was duping actor Jeet,” Khan said. “Bagh Bandhi Khela”, released in November 2018, is an anthology film featuring actors such as Prosenjit Chatterjee, Srabanti Chatterjee, and Jeet. The scene being filmed in the viral clip is visible around the seven-minute mark in the film, available on Disney+ Hotstar. It is hence clear that the video in question has nothing to do with the Shah Rukh Khan movie “Jawan”. Please share it on our at 73 7000 7000 You can also send us an email at factcheck@intoday.com
