Claim :AP Chief Minister and YSRC leader Jagan’s party agenda song was played during the Prajagalam meeting conducted by TDP, BJP, and Janasena Alliance (NDA) Fact :Jagananna agenda song was not played during the meeting, the audio of the song was digitally added to the video of the meeting Bharatiya Janata Party, Telugu Desam Party, and Janasena Party officially announced that they would be fighting the 2024 Lok Sabha and the Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh together. The leaders of these parties arranged a huge public meeting named Prajagalam in Palnadu district. It is also the first meeting of the NDA in Andhra Pradesh in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections on May 13, 2024. The meeting was attended by TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, Indian PM Narendra Modi, and Janasena party chief Pawan Kalyan on March 17, 2024. It was livestreamed by several media outlets. Some social media users shared a 38-second video extracted from the longer video with the song created for Jagan’s YSRCP and claimed that it was played during the Prajagalam meeting. The video is being shared with claim in Telugu “టీడీపీ, జనసేన, బీజేపీ బహిరంగ సభలో.. జగనన్న అజెండా సాంగ్!”.When translated, it states Jagananna agenda song played during TDP, Janasena, and BJP’s public meeting. Fact Check: The claim is False. No song related to YSRCP or AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy was played during the public meeting of the NDA alliance which was attended by Indian PM Modi,TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, JSP president Pawan Kalyan and other leaders. When searched extensively for the “Prajagalam” meeting, we found that several media outlets live-streamed the meeting on YouTube and other social media platforms. Here is the livestream published by a Telugu media outlet ‘TV5’, where the speeches by the leaders can be seen but Jagananna agenda song cannot be found. The feed of more than 11 hours did not contain the viral portion. Here is the Live telecast by 10 TV News Telugu. When searched further, we could not find any reports of such incidents. According to oktelugu.com which shared a video published by ABN Andhra Jyothi Telugu, where Prime Minister Modi interrupted the speech of Janasena Leader Pawan Kalyan to urge youth climbing the towers on the premises to get down as there was the threat of electrocution. He appealed to the youth to get down the tower erected for power supply. At 2.27 minutes of this video, we can see Chandrababu Naidu gesturing to the public to get down, which is used in the viral video. Hence, the claim that Jagan’s party agenda song was played in the public meeting conducted by the NDA alliance is False. The audio has been altered and the song has been embedded in the middle of the speech to mislead social media users.
