Hong Kong stocks started Wednesday slightly down as investors turn their focus to the Federal Reserve's latest policy meeting hoping for some indication that its easy money policy will be kept in place for some time. The Hang Seng Index dipped 0.25 percent, or 62.25 points, to 24,710.51. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.19 percent, or 5.97 points, to 3,221.99, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange eased 0.23 percent, or 4.95 points, to 2,168.90. dan/jah
