Hamilton's seven-year stay in the Scottish Premiership came to an end on Sunday as Kilmarnock's 2-0 win at New Douglas Park confirmed the Accies' relegation. Brian Rice's men needed to beat Killie by nine goals after defeat at Ross County realistically ended their chances of survival. Killie did their bit to try and avoid a relegation playoff as Mitch Pinnock scored twice in the first-half. But Ross County's 2-1 win at Motherwell ensured they maintained a three-point cushion over Kilmarnock to guarantee their place in the top-flight next season. Tommy Wright's men will take on Dundee in a two-legged playoff on May 20 and 24th. kca/nr
