France on Friday said a US proposal for the establishment of a global minimum corporate tax of at least 15 percent was a good compromise, but added that timing is key. Arriving for talks with his eurozone counterparts, Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire said France "can live with 15 percent, it can be a good compromise", but urged a political agreement at the OECD on the subject no later than a G20 meeting in Italy in July. arp/del/lth
