Earlier, Olympiakos communications director Nikos Gavalas posted on social media a video of the poor conditions of the stadium's pitch, saying the grass had been "practically abandoned". The stadium administration pinned the blame over the state of the pitch on AEK and Panathinaikos, the two clubs that used the ground this past season, insisting its upkeep was "exclusively" their responsibility. le/mw
