| - The husband of a British-Iranian woman detained in Tehran for five years held a vigil outside Iran's embassy in London on Monday demanding she be allowed home after serving her sentence. Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, who has been under house arrest for months, has had her ankle tag removed, giving her more freedom of movement and allowing her to visit relatives in Tehran. But the 42-year-old dual national now faces another court appearance in Iran next Sunday, dashing hopes from her family, friends and supporters of an immediate return home. Her husband, Richard, and their six-year-old daughter, Gabriella, joined protesters outside the Iranian embassy in central London on Monday. He tried to deliver an Amnesty International petition signed by 160,000 supporters calling for his wife's release, but was turned away. Ratcliffe told reporters his wife was still being "threatened" with another court case next week. "We're still going to keep battling until she's home," he said. "It is still the Iranian authorities that are holding Nazanin. They are now holding her even after the end of her sentence. That remains outrageous. "My reading of it at the moment is it's a warning shot to the British authorities. She is still being held there as leverage." His wife was "euphoric" and had a "big grin on her face" after her tag was removed, he added. Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe was detained while on holiday in 2016 and convicted of plotting to overthrow the regime in Tehran -- accusations she strenuously denied. jwp/phz/spm
