  • FACT CHECK: Video Shared As Crisis Actors Filming In Gaza Is Actually From Advertisement A post shared on social media purportedly shows crisis actors filming a fabricated scene in Gaza. Rare “behind the scenes” footage of a Pallywood production pic.twitter.com/x5IULZzn0s — Hamas Atrocities (@HamasAtrocities) March 15, 2024 Verdict: False The claim is inaccurate. The video is for an advertisement. Fact Check: Former President Donald Trump has called for Israel to bring a swift end to their offensive in Gaza, The Associated Press reported. Trump warned global support for this offensive is fading, but also said that he would have responded the same way Israel did after Oct. 7. A post shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, shows an alleged show behind the scenes of the filming of a fabricated video of crisis actors in Gaza. The video shows cameras pointed at a young boy surrounded by rubble as music plays. The caption reads, “Rare ‘behind the scenes’ footage of a Pallywood production.” The claim is inaccurate. An Instagram account shared footage from the same shoot and claimed to be part of an advertisement, not a crisis actor video. The caption claims the video is for a song. View this post on Instagram The video was posted by the creators to Instagram. The video was uploaded to YouTube on March 10. The video is in support of the people in Gaza. Google translated part of the description to, “Gentlemen, Do you not see that there is genocide in Gaza? Or has our destruction and death become a habit? Dear listeners, have you not seen the children of Palestine? And how did we become hungry… afraid… displaced…” View this post on Instagram The director of the ad, Omar Rammal, told a Palestinian news outlet that the video was not filmed in Gaza but in Jordan. Check Your Fact debunked a claim that a video shows Barack Obama saying U.S. trained ISIS.
