| - On March 3, the India-based English news outlet NDTV World published an exclusive interview with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The interview was conducted by the media outlet’s Senior Executive Editor, Aditya Raj Kaul. However, following this broadcast, claims surfaced on social media alleging that the Indian journalist had exposed the location of the attack on Netanyahu’s residence and released a video of the damaged house, which consequently led to his arrest.

Fact-check
An investigation by the Rumor Scanner team reveals that the claim regarding the arrest of journalist Aditya Raj Kaul is not true. This baseless claim has been circulating on social media without any factual evidence. In reality, he is safe and active. Recently, he even participated in a live session on his X (Twitter) account where he could be heard speaking.
An inquiry into the matter found that on March 15, after these rumors had already spread on social media, an X Space titled ‘Speaking shortly on my Israel experience’ was shared from Aditya Raj Kaul’s X account. The space was hosted by Abhishek Jha under the title ‘West Asia Crisis’. Aditya Raj Kaul was heard speaking live during this broadcast.
Furthermore, he continues to post regularly from his X account. Additionally, no international media or reliable news sources have reported any information regarding the arrest of this Indian journalist.
It is also worth noting that journalist Aditya Raj Kaul did not release any video revealing the location of an attack on Netanyahu’s residence. Research indicates that on March 3, one day after an Iranian missile strike, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu released a video while reviewing the damages. However, there is no evidence to suggest that the location shown in the video was Netanyahu’s personal residence.
Therefore, the circulated information claiming the arrest of Indian journalist Aditya Raj Kaul is completely false.
