Messages and posts claiming Rs 4,000 will be granted under ‘PM Ramban Yojana’ are fake. There is no such scheme by the government.

New Delhi (Vishvas News): Vishvas News came across a viral post on various social media platforms. The post claims that the youth are getting Rs 4000 after registering at the link given in the message under ‘Pradhan Mantri Ramban Suraksha Yojana’.
The messages along with the link were widely shared on WhatsApp too.
Claim:
Facebook user Rajan Kumar Sajan shared a banner with picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on it that stated that for free treatment and security the government has introduced Pradhanmantri Ramban Suraksha Yojana.

Another user Vishal Kanoojiya Vishal Kanoojiya shared a screenshot of a WhatsApp message that looked like a forwarded message and stated (in Hindi), the registration for Pradhanmantri Ramban Suraksha Yojana are underway and all the youth of the country will be getting a sum of Rs 4000 as a help.
The message also consisted of a link.

All the posts carried the link where they were asked to register, the link was a blogspot link.
Investigation:
Vishvas News first investigated the link that was being widely shared along with the viral message.
(Vishvas News appeals its readers to not click on any such suspicious link.)
The link consisted of a registration form under Pradhanmantri Ramban Suraksha Yojana.
We clicked to register and the form asked to select a UPI APP and the contact number.
To apply for a government scheme, just the contact details are not enough, a person needs to submit various documents along with an application form.
We then visited the section of the government portal which consists of all the schemes.
We also searched with the appropriate keywords, we did not find any scheme named ‘Pradhanmantri Ramban Suraksha Yojana’.
In the last step of investigation, Vishvas News spoke to Ameya Vishwaroop, Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan Pramukh, Nagpur city. He informed that there is no scheme by the name of ‘Pradhanmantri Ramban Suraksha Yojana’. This is a scam in the name of government scheme.
Vishvas News finally did a background check of the user who shared the post. Vishal Kanoojiya Vishal Kanoojiya is a resident of Khalilabad.
Conclusion: Messages and posts claiming Rs 4,000 will be granted under ‘PM Ramban Yojana’ are fake. There is no such scheme by the government.
