YouTube channel “DDS NEWSINFO” falsely claimed in a video uploaded on Friday, April 9, that former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr has returned to power in the Malacañang Palace.
The video started with a short clip about Duterte’s message to Filipinos on Araw ng Kagitingan. It then cut to a clip of Marcos being interviewed by Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque and radio presenter Mare Yao inside the Palace. The words, “Marcos umopo (sic) nakabalik na sa Malacanang (Marcos has sat and has returned to Malacañang),” were visible at the bottom part of the video.
