Claim :
Pakistani panelist mocks Chitra Tripathi on live debateFact :
The claim is false. Vira video is editedThe ongoing Iran war has pushed the Middle East into one of its most volatile phases in recent years. The conflict, which began in late February 2026, has disrupted global oil supplies, triggered military strikes across multiple countries, and led to thousands of casualties. Amid this crisis, diplomatic efforts between the United States and Iran have intensified. Pakistan hosted direct talks between Washington and Tehran in Islamabad. Although the initial rounds of discussions ended without a breakthrough, mediation efforts are still continuing.
Meanwhile, a video claiming to be from ABP News, showing a Pakistani panelist mocking anchor Chitra Tripathi during a live debate, is being widely circulated on social media. A user shared the clip with the caption: “Godi Anchor invited a Porkistani to get insulted by him. What was she thinking.” Here's the screenshot of the claim

Fact Check:
The viral video has been digitally manipulated. It was edited by a Pakistani Facebook user known for posting satirical content by altering real news debates.
To verify the claim, we conducted a keyword search based on the ticker visible in the viral clip, which mentioned fighter jets on the Ganga Expressway. This search led us to a post on ABP News’ official Facebook page from the same date.
Using this clue, we identified the full version of the debate on ABP News’ official YouTube channel. Titled “India-Pakistan Tensions: India’s flight in the sky...Pakistan in shock! | Rafale | ABP News,” the video shows Chitra Tripathi in the same outfit as seen in the viral clip. However, the panelist featured in the viral video does not appear anywhere in the original broadcast. At around the 18:06 timestamp, Tripathi is seen questioning a different Pakistani panelist about Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
To trace the origin of the viral clip, we performed a reverse image search of a frame from the video. This led us to a Pakistani Facebook user named Atta Muhammad Mari, who had shared the edited clip on 6 April 2026 with a caption roughly translating to: “Narendra Modi also bears the cost of the make-up of Godi media.”
Further examination of his Facebook profile revealed that he frequently posts satirical content by modifying original live debate videos from Indian news channels and inserting himself as a panelist.
