(Archives of similar claims can be found here and here.) Is the claim true?: We found no evidence to prove the validity of the claim. There are latest reports on the BRICS website noting deals and work agreements between India and other BRICS countries. What we found: At first, we checked for the BRICS committee by running a simple keyword search, however, we did not find any results. Even the BRICS website does not state anything about a BRICS core committee. We, then, went to the news section of BRICS, which showed us a latest report from 29 November noting, "Russia Is Giving Indian Exporters Greater Market Access New Delhi" It was about increasing Indian agricultural and food exports in the Russian market.
