Then we go and see the coastal elite media trashing it for not being organic vegan. We're football players, not bloggers. This was a perfect blue collar party. The bogus quote was spread thousands of times on the social media platform, before Lawrence debunked it on his own account saying, "I never said this by the way ... I don't know where it came from. The president was criticized online for serving fast food to the Tigers instead of something prepared by White House staff. However, the workers who would have made such a meal were furloughed as a result of the partial federal government shutdown that began in December 2018. Lawrence, though, was positive about the dinner, telling told the gossip site TMZ that "It was awesome. We had McDonald's and everything. It was good."
