It cannot be found on the personality’s Twitter or on an archived version of his account. Fact Check: In a September speech, Russian President Vladimir Putin threatened the potential use of “tactical nuclear weapons” following recent Russian military setbacks in Ukraine, according to CNN. Some Ukrainian citizens are preparing for the possibility of a Russian nuclear attack following the recent attack on the Kirch Strait Bridge, The New York Times reported. The Facebook image purports to show a screenshot of an Oct. 2 tweet published by Cramer. “It is incredibly unlikely that Russia will use nuclear weapons,” it reads. The screenshot was also published in a tweet that garnered over 3,000 retweets. “it’s been nice knowing you all,” The post’s caption reads. (RELATED: Is The U.S. Testing The ‘Deadliest Nuclear Bomb’?) The tweet is not from Cramer’s official account. The edited tweet does not have a Twitter-verified checkmark, and Cramer’s account is verified. Likewise, the post cannot be found on Cramer’s verified Twitter, Facebook or Instagram accounts. An archived version of his account on Oct. 2 does not show the alleged tweet either. A Twitter user named @poordart tweeted out the same sentence on Oct. 2. In a reply to the original tweet, the account includes a screenshot of the same tweet but with the name set to “Jim Cramer” and a profile picture displaying Cramer, but the username still reads @poordart, suggesting the user imitated Cramer. This was fun 🙏 pic.twitter.com/fAqAAzst8u — poordart (@poordart) October 2, 2022 “This was fun,” reads the caption. Check Your Fact has reached out to Cramer’s team for comment and will update this piece accordingly if one is received.
