The claim is Misleading. The video was shot in Islamabad, Pakistan not Delhi, India.
When carefully observed, the date and time stamp on the CCTV footage can be seen as February 15, 2025, 22:48 minutes. Here is the screenshot of the viral video.
When we extracted keyframes from the video, we found that the video was shared by another X user at 12.33 am on February 16, 2025, with the hashtags earthquake and Islamabad.
Others shared the same video, confirming that the video shows earthquake tremors in Islamabad.
Some multimedia journalists took to X, stating that the viral video is from Islamabad, Pakistan, and not Delhi.
This video is not of the #Delhi #earthquake. It is from Islamabad, recorded on February 15, 2025, at 22:48, when a 4.8-magnitude earthquake jolted Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and parts of AJK. The date written on the CCTV is Feb. 15 & the earthquake occurred in Delhi on Feb. 17.
