The archived version of the tweet can be seen here. Newschecker noticed that the majority of the roadside shop signs and nearby banners were in Urdu, raising our doubts whether it was from the United Kingdom. We then ran a reverse image search of keyframes of the clip, which led us to a longer and clearer version of the video on Youtube, dated February 10, 2022, headlined, “Walking tour of Hyderabad, Pakistan, Walking Through Shahi Bazar, Resham Bazar, City Walk”. The viral excerpt can be seen from the 00:07 mark. “The Shahi Bazar is considered one of the longest bazars in Asia. It starts from Pakka Fort and ends at Market Tower (Naval Rai Clock Tower). It’s about 2km long. Here you can find some of Hyderabad’s oldest bazaars selling arts, crafts, embroidery and jewellery of Sindhi heritage. It’s around 400 years old bazaar. Resham Bazar is another popular bazaar here – they’re very nearby. It’s a different world,” read the description of the video uploaded by travel vlogger “Girl In Paradise”. We also noticed the address in one of the shop signs read, “Resham Bazar, Hyderabad”, further confirming that the viral video was from Pakistan and not UK’s Bradford.
