| - In late May 2025, a claim (archived) circulated online that actor Adam Sandler testified against Sean "Diddy" Combs on or around May 30, 2025, during the rapper's sex-trafficking trial in New York City.
One YouTube video, titled "1 MINUTE AGO: Adam Sandler Testifies In Court On Day 14 Of Diddy Trial," had more than 374,000 views at the time of this writing.
However, the claim that Sandler testified against Combs in the music mogul's criminal trial was false. Court reports from entertainmentandnewsoutlets on May 30 — day 13 of the trial, when video narrations in the above posts said Sandler testified — made no mention of the actor. Sandler also did not feature in Getty Images photos or court sketches on this date. Day 14 of the trial, when some video titles and descriptions said the testimony took place, was on June 2, 2025, several days after the videos were published.
A Google search also produced no evidence that Sandler testified at the trial.
Snopes reached out to representatives for Sandler to ask if the actor had or would testify in the trial against Combs. We await their reply.
One video (archived) that did not include the "altered or synthetic content" label (but did include the "entertainment and educational purposes only" disclaimer) falsely credited its claims to Inner City Press, an outlet that covers the Southern District Court of New York where Combs' trial was being held.

Combs faces multiple charges that include racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
