| - In the context of the ongoing conflict between Iran, Israel, and the United States, following the death of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, his son Mojtaba Khamenei became the new leader. Conflicting claims have emerged regarding his injuries. The US claims that he is severely injured, likely incapacitated, and currently in hiding. Conversely, Iran asserts that while he is injured, the wounds are minor and have not impacted his capability to lead.
Against this backdrop, an image has spread across the internet claiming to show the injured Mojtaba Khamenei. The photograph depicts a person lying in a hospital bed with their arms and legs bandaged.

Fact-check
An investigation by the Rumor Scanner team reveals that the circulated image is not authentic. In fact, this fabricated photo was created using artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
An inquiry into the matter found no evidence from media outlets or any reliable sources to support the discussed claim. Naturally, if such a photo of Mojtaba Khamenei were released, it would be broadcast by credible sources in Iran, the US, or Israel. However, the image in question has not been attributed to any trustworthy source; instead, it has spread baselessly across the internet.
Subsequent analysis of the image reveals anomalies in its various visual elements, which are typical hallmarks of AI-generated content.
To confirm the matter further, Rumor Scanner examined the image using Hive Detect, a tool designed to identify AI-generated content. The tool’s analysis indicated an almost 100 percent probability that the image was generated by AI.
Therefore, the circulated image claiming to depict an injured Mojtaba Khamenei is entirely AI-generated.
