No such post can be found on Trump’s Truth Social page. Fact Check: In a statement on social media, former governor of California and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris and called Trump’s actions “un-American” and “unpatriotic,” according to the New York Times. He clarified that he will vote for Harris even though he is not completely aligned with her policies due to Trump’s dangerous rhetoric, the outlet reported. An Instagram image appears to show a post from Trump on his Truth Social that simply reads, “I HATE ADOLF HITLER!” The post allegedly garnered 1,740 likes and 503 shares. The image has been digitally fabricated, however. No such post can be found on Trump’s Truth Social page. Additionally, there are no credible news reports to suggest he posted this. (RELATED: Trump Campaign Ad Claims 435,719 Released Illegal Immigrants Are Convicted Criminals) The post appears in the same format as what’s used for meme generator TrumpHates.Me, particularly the number of likes, comments and shares, as well as the indicator that it was posted 12 minutes ago. The site allows anyone to generate a Truth Social post appearing to have been made by Trump beginning with the words “I hate.” The generator’s images have a “parody” disclaimer at the bottom, but this appears to have been edited out in the Instagram image. Check Your Fact reached out to a Trump spokesperson for comment.
