Users sharing the video assert that it showcases Ayodhya’s Ram Temple, set to be inaugurated in January. Upon investigation, Vishvas News determined that the claim associated with the viral video was false. The video does not depict the Ram Temple but rather the Ramoji Film Studio in Hyderabad. What’s Going Viral? While sharing the viral post, the Facebook user wrote, “Divine darshan of Ram temple.” Investigation: Starting our investigation, we used Google Lens to search for keyframes from the viral video. Subsequently, we identified an identical temple-like scene from the viral video on Pixie.com. As per the information provided on the website, this scene is the Maharaja Darbar setup at Ramoji Film Studio in Hyderabad. Building on this discovery, we extended our investigation and found the same video uploaded on a YouTube channel named “Ramoji Film City.” According to the details on this channel, the video depicts the Bhagavatam set at Ramoji Film City. To authenticate the information concerning the viral video, we reached out to Dainik Jagran Bureau Chief Ramasharan Awasthi in Ayodhya. Upon sharing the viral video with him, he clarified that the video does not feature the Ram Temple, asserting that the claim is false. During social scanning of the Facebook user who shared the fake post, we found that according to the user’s bio, he is a resident of Bangladesh. Conclusion: In its investigation, Vishvas News determined that the claim associated with the viral video was false.
