  • FACT CHECK: Viral X Video Does Not Show Saudi Crown Prince Threatening Trump A viral video shared on X claims to show Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman purportedly threatening President Donald Trump. Saudi Crown Prince Muhammed bin Salman Responds to Trump: “We Have Fought Many Battles and Emerged Victorious” Riyadh – Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has sent a strong message to U.S. President Donald Trump, highlighting the kingdom’s long history of military victories.… pic.twitter.com/7LdRoQk0K4 — Kabul Frontline (@KabulFrontline) February 11, 2025 Verdict: False The video appears to be fabricated from a speech bin Salman delivered to the Shura council in September 2024 before Trump was elected president. Fact Check: bin Salman and Russia’s sovereign wealth fund chief Kirill Dmitriev were involved in negotiating the recent release of Marc Fogel, an American teacher who was held in a Russian prison, according to Reuters. The deal was in the works for “more than a year,” the outlet reported. The X video, viewed over 100,000 times, claims to show bin Salman purportedly threatening Trump. “Saudi Crown Prince Muhammed bin Salman Responds to Trump: ‘We Have Fought Many Battles and Emerged Victorious,'” the post’s caption reads in part. “His remarks come in response to recent statements by Trump regarding the Middle East, signaling Saudi Arabia’s firm stance on historical and geopolitical matters,” it continues. The claim is false. The video appears to be fabricated from a speech bin Salman delivered to the Shura council in September 2024 before Trump was elected president. “Saudi Crown Prince delivers annual royal speech to Shura Council on behalf of King,” an English translation of the video’s title reads. According to Arab News, bin Salman condemned the “crimes of the Israeli occupation” and said the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia “would not recognize Israel without the establishment of a Palestinian state.” Likewise, Trump does not appear to have commented on the viral X video via his TRUTH Social account or his personal or government X accounts. In addition, Check Your Fact found no credible news reports to support the claim. Actually, the opposite is true. On Feb. 13, Misbar reported the viral X video was fabricated from bin Salman’s September 2024 speech.
