Facebook pages circulated an alleged statement attributed to the head of the opposition Syrian National Coalition, Nasr al-Hariri, that he said, "We will not accept the Kurdish language in the new Syrian constitution," but the claim is incorrect.

Claim
Recently, Facebook pages and accounts reported a statement attributed to the head of the opposition Syrian National Coalition, Nasr Hariri, in which he said, "We will not accept the Kurdish language in Syria's new constitution."
On February 21, a page bearing the name (Kurdish Observatory for Human Rights) published a story titled "Nasr Hariri, the Kurdish language will not be in the new Syrian constitution."
And the page reported in the news that the head of the Syrian coalition, Nasr Hariri, said: "We will not accept the Kurdish language in the Syrian constitution and recognition, as some Kurdish parties believe. Rather, the presence of some Kurdish personalities in the coalition are as our employees and serve their homeland Syria, and they have nothing to do with Kurdish political rights."
The post mentioned above garnered a remarkable interaction of 77 posts, more than 400 interactions, and 380 comments, most of which incite hatred.
The same claim was republished by a website called (Nosowr of Mittan Organization), in addition to many Facebook pages and accounts, a sample of which can be found in the prosecutor's sources table at the end of this article.
Verify-Sy searched for the source of the alleged claim that the head of the opposition Syrian National Coalition, Nasr Hariri, stated that "the Kurdish language will not be in the new Syrian constitution." It did not find any reliable media source that cited the statement.
The platform also searched the website of the (National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces), its official identifier on Facebook, in addition to the account of the head of the coalition, Nasr Hariri on Twitter, but did not find any trace of the claim.
After that, the platform contacted Ruba Habbush, the deputy head of the Syrian coalition, to whom the circulating claim was attributed to verify more of the truth of the alleged statement, but it refused to give us a statement on the subject or to convey to us an official statement from Hariri, explaining that "the coalition leader does not respond to false statements."
