The ban was ended two days after Garrett's Monday meeting with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell after the league office in New York. "Welcome back big fella!!!" tweeted Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield. The reinstatement will allow Garrett to return to the team and participate in pre-season workouts that begin in April. "We welcome Myles back to our organization with open arms," Browns general manager Andrew Berry said in a statement. "We know he is grateful to be reinstated, eager to put the past behind him and continue to evolve and grow as a leader." The 24-year-old Texan has made 104 tackles in 37 games over three NFL seasons, all with the Browns. On the play that got him banned, Garrett pulled the helmet off Rudolph and swung it at the Steelers quarterback, inflicting a glancing blow to his head. The ensuing melee led to fines of $250,000 for each club and suspensions of two games for Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey and one game to Browns defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi. js/dj
